Hi Parents, We'd like to remind parents that students need either ballet shoes or convertible tights for class so as not to have a tripping hazard because of their feet being slippery. At this point in the year we would be more comfortable if all children had ballet shoes (for the performance and due to the weather) and convertible tights (for times when a student might forget their shoes) though it is up to you which one you purchase for your child. If you don't mind cutting your childs footed tights you may do so to make them into convertibles, here is a video which easily explains how to do so. Just be sure to cut the part which would be under your child's foot. An extra tip if you are finding it hard to find the spot where the hole should be - you can have your child wear the tights and then mark the spot like in the video, take them off and then cut them. We'd also like to remind parents about naming their children's belongings and providing them with a bag to keep their things together. We have "I love CCDA" bags available for $15 here. Thank you
